The longest I've ever driven to a district event was about 3.5 to 4 hours. I can't imagine driving any further. I completely agree that Cali should form a new district . . . perhaps even two new districts, as SoCaliUPC alluded to earlier.
Is there any truth to the rumor that NW may leave the org? I doubt it, but I don't know Cali UPC politics.

I doubt is God is very concerned about the politics of any organization including my own. The Will of God includes many things but I sincerely doubt that is one of them.

NW is not UPC that I know of, I thought his church was just affiliated.

I could be mistaken here . . . but if a church is affiliated by the UPC then the pastor must be licensed by the UPC.
The pastor could be licensed UPC and the church not be affiliated . . . but not the other way around.
Not that I'm aware of at least.

I can not, without 100% certainty say that he is thinking of leaving. However, the rumor out there, is that he has been trying to start his own organization. I just do not know how much of it is truth and how much is a rumor. But this has been circulating out here for a while.

True. The church might not be affiliated but the preacher must be UPC.

NW is UPC. His name could not have been up for nomination and voted on if he was not UPC.
