Thank God! I've been praying for those girls to be safe! Sad ending to a sad situation but thankfully the girls are safe.

They took him to the closest hospital and he died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Good question Cindy. If the mother and daughter was killed in the house, I have to wonder was the father there? Did he not hear anything? The news reports only said he woke up to find them all gone and he waited until the bus came and the girls did not get off.

That's my big question too! SO thankful the girls are safe, but how could the father sleep through his wife and daughter being killed in their garage? Can't even imagine the trauma those poor children have been through!

Well here is the ending to this terrible ordeal. Nobody in Adam Hayes family would claim the body so it is going to Tennessee.
