We all know that would never fly.

In most cases, more conservative viewpoints and opinions are usually tolerated. Far more often than more liberal ones.

I guess it must fit in with the whole "better safe than sorry" mantra.

I walked out of a music concert at church once when the music was way too loud. There is no need to play music that loud.

I came very close to walking out when a guy guest speaking called for an offering...then said God said to come up and give again...then said God said to come up and give again...then said God said to come up and give again. Then proceeded to say if you didn't come up the fourth time, you needed to get right with God. The time I actually did walk out of a church service is when I started backsliding and the devil told me I had no place here and I believed him.

I'm led to say that I much more suspect, at least,
that you were actually frontsliding,
especially if that was the same church.
Did you query this spirit, that told you
you had no place there, I wonder.
