I don't know if this is relevant. Your post just reminded me of this. I wish I could find the actual quote.

These are awesome words by Mother Theresa!!!
I remember a few years ago, I went to a concert with our son. A Christian group, although not the headliners, were playing as the opening band. A very large group of young people were in attendance. Although we left after the opening band, I left there with a huge burden. There were so many young people with no direction in their lives. It was an outdoor concert and we had to stand in a very long line that looped around, and so I was able to observe for, at least, two hours.
The next day, I was asking the Lord how it was possible to reach them all. He impressed on me the thought that I should pray for one person in each community to reach out to the lost. Because, it only takes the burden of one person to begin a revival.
Praying for you, Cindy!

Re: Burdened and Tired/Please Pray For Me
Cindy, I'll certainly pray for you. If I could make a suggestion, from personal experience...
Our inability to make a difference seems to add immeasurably to our stress and frustration... Knowing this, I have found great comfort in making some difference, somehow, someway in a life less fortunate than I. Along the lines of what Aquila said, that person may be right in front of me, but there are times when I intentionally seek out an opportunity too.
I am not talking about converting someone here though one never knows... Just a kind deed, a vist with a sick or elderly person - it means so much to them. It gives purpose and meaning to both parties. Isn't that really the finest of our human existence?

Re: Burdened and Tired/Please Pray For Me
Oh Cindy! You are such a sweet, sweet person.
I have to agree with both accerak , Aquila and Hoovie in that if we can pray for our household first, then reach the one in front of us and we can make a difference with just that one person. I think God designed for salvation to have a ripple effect. We reach one person, that person reaches a few people, those few people reach a few until it spreads out like throwing a stone in the water and watch it ripple outward. We can pray that God bless each and every heart that starts out with the seed you planted.
Then there will be another receiving heart where the process starts over again.
Then we need to take our rest in Christ as Sis Falla pointed out in scripture: “Come unto me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matt.11:28-30
Love you sister, in Christ.

Re: Burdened and Tired/Please Pray For Me
Thank you all, I am very encouraged to know that y'all are praying for and with me. I will just try to lift up Jesus to them.
And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. John 12:32 KJV
