K, sorry.
I often use weird words for concepts that are too ingrained on purpose,
to pull people out of "sleep" on a matter.

I think you and Dordt illuminate and represent Original Sin doctrine
quite well.

Then don't assume your eyes work fine. Cause that is a big elephant being mistaken.

Re: Repentance, Holiness, and the Church
I could have never imagined or come up with a prayer on my own for the salvation I have.

Is it wrong for me to assume that if God not only had His words written to us even though it was through man as His Spirit moved upon them and He spoke to us while He was in the flesh that God then made our ears to work fine and have the ability to hear what he is saying?
Of course it's not wrong. So why try to get anyone to question the most basic message of the bible?

Ha, I doubt that my current pov here
will be my final one, amen. However,
my premises will stay the same,
as long as we are under Grace, anyway.
Otherwise, I will have to assume that I
have defined this elephant perfectly, also,
and I only see death there.
I'll ask again, with this in mind
(...Greater things will you do...),
"Do you walk on water, then?"
Then, "How do you know?"
And see how your answer to this
may amount to semantics,
an argument against a different dogma
that has little or nothing to do with
individual people.
We have already established that
all have sinned, yes? Apply that here.

Neither could the surprised sheep at "the Separation" parable?
One must be pretty sure in order to drink the kool-aid, too, JD,
not meaning to make a comparison there.
That works for you, and I say "amen!"
See how you might be condemning another
on a similar path for using different words.

Well, the "hearing" we seek for faith does not need
the physical ears we already have, imo, but an
understanding of a Scriptural principle, seen
re-enacted in an everyday situation?
And I note that the NT was written
by Jews, but for whatever reason
comes to us through the Greek?
What is that? But I'm working on
that part--meanwhile, we can do
it your way--
What is this most basic message
of the Bible you refer to?

We are sinners in need of a Savior and that the whole bible points towards Jesus Christ as being that Savior.

Re: Repentance, Holiness, and the Church
Amen. But one shouldn't limit Christ
to their definition of Him.
