Would You Want To Know?
If there was a chance that you were living in a generation when billions of people living on Earth were going to die due to war ( Rev. 9:15-18) would you rather be told in advance or not know at all until it happened?
If there was a chance you were living in a generation when satan was going to come down to the Earth ( Rev. 12:13) and live among men would you rather be told in advance or not know until it happened?
If there was a chance you were living in a generation when Christians would have to renounce their faith in Christ ( Rev. 13:15-17) in order to buy and sell would you rather know in advance or not know until it happened?
Would you want your family and friends to know in advance what was going to occur or would you rather they did not know until it happened?

Re: Would You Want To Know?
In general I don't want to know the future, but if it were judgment of God, I guess I would hope to spare my family, and do what I could to spare as many as I could.

Re: Would You Want To Know?
25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek: for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Matthew 6:25-34 KJV

I would rather know so that I could pray that I could pray that all possible could be spared, and so that I could also do my best to reach people before and during the calamaty.

Amen to Jesus words in Matthew!
How about his words in Revelation? Are they profitable?

Yes, an advanced warning as it were.

Re: Would You Want To Know?
Today is the last day of the rest of your life.
I think it is important to understand the Revelation,
and recognize that it is not "Revelations."
As humans, I think we inevitably read things there
and assume they will be virtually instantaneous,
and may happen tomorrow.
This is not the way to read the Revelation.
If someone could show you that you might be
reading the Revelation with the wrong eyes,
and that most or all of that stuff was happening
right now, would you want to know?
1/3 of Americans are obese, for instance...

Re: Would You Want To Know?
I think most of us already know, from the written Word. Now whether we believe it or not is a good question.
Shouldn't we be living as if today is our last day breathing in this body?

Re: Would You Want To Know?
Hoovie and Jay's response is like Abraham when told that the Lord was going down to see whether it was done according to the cry which was come unto him or like Moses when he heard God felt like destroying them all and starting over.
