The issue has to be addressed. Let's not kid ourselves. Many Christians "dabble" in adult entertainment. Also, this isn't restricted to being a problem for Christian men, even devout Christian women are "dabbling" in adult entertainment. Also, even Christian couples are known to "dabble" in adult entertainment to "spice up their love lives". It's important to know the dangers involved and the reality behind much of it. It's also important to teach a balanced Christian sex ethic and draw appropriate lines that are in agreement with the Word of God.
Maybe this pastor is wanting the publicity and buzz for the sake of entering the conversation.

My wife was at a woman's conference several years ago where the speaker was talking about marital relations. One of her laugh lines came when she was talking about all the things that should be banned and allowed in the bedroom. She (the speaker) said "...and the only things NOT allowed in the marriage bed are other people and porn -unless of course you decide to make your own!".
