What I do believe is that no matter what I say, there will always be somebody here who will take offense to what I have to say. I have a lot of Scripture to back up my beliefs. If somebody does not like what I have to say...that is just too bad since disrespect is not in my heart.

I have been in the background studying these forums for awhile. From what I have seen written on these forums, everybody here, with the exception of a few, has given and received their share of disrespect. Some here chastise others for the very same offense they have likewise given to others.

If you have scripture to prove me wrong, then by all means, give it and let's discuss it.

Its not what you say, its how you say it. You can believe what you want to, but just because it doesn't line up with someone elses beliefs doesn't make them less mature spiritually. Your basically judging someone elses walk which you have no God given authority to do.

Now, he gave scripture as to what he meant by "following his pastor" . you ignored that and twisted his words to build yourself a soapbox with. So lets try this again.

What is your interpretation and understanding of :

Paul didn't follow Peter when Peter drifted off into legalism. Peter made some serious errors in judgement which Paul bluntly pointed out and Peter hastily retreated. The key phrase "As I Follow Christ." Legalism is dead religion.

Acts 2:38, 1 God, and holiness.

Among Apostolics there are differences of opinion about
Acts 2:38
1 God
and
holiness

For example:

I see Acts 2:38 as:
1. get saved
2. get baptized
3. get baptized in the Holy Ghost

I see 1 God as:
we worship one God who has revealed himself as Father, Son, and Holy Ghost without wrangling about persons, personas, personalities, offices, roles, masks, manifestations, offices or kenoomas.

I see holiness as:
Jesus Christ (YHWH_m'kaddesh, the Lord our holiness/sanctification) living in me and imputing and imparting God's holiness to me. I have God's holiness which makes me holy enough to make it. Positionally, I am as holy in the sight of God as His Son Jesus Christ is. I have a duty to pursue/follow holiness or to perfect/grow/mature in holiness by allowing Him to develop in me the fruit of the Spirit and to say "no" to the flesh and to say "yes" to the Spirit (ref Hebrews 12:14; 2 Corinthians 7:1; Galatians 5:16-26; Ephesians 4:22-24)
