This scripture came to mind when I read your post:
II Peter 1:2-3 "
Grace (
graciousness,acceptable, benefit, favour, gift, grace (-ious), joy liberality, pleasure, thanks) and
peace (quietness, rest) be multiplied unto you
through the
knowledge (recognition, full discernment) of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness,
through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:"
Act 17:28 "For in him we live, and move, and have our being..."
The more I read and study His Word, I find peace, happiness, joy, purpose, etc. When I try to figure these things out on my own, I lose some of those elements and have to go to Him and start over. It's that simple for me.
