Personally, I believe they are as anti-American, as anti-Christian, as anti-Semitic, as devious and as deceived as any fool on planet earth.
Tomorrow I'll tell you what I really think.
Be not deceived, Islam is a growing sore on the body politic. They have nothing of value to offer mankind. They are a disease.
"Islam is a religion of peace." -- "W"
And now we know ....

Well, I believe they are "as lost as two boys kissing" as an elder here would say. But that is beside the point. They have a radical side just like christianity does, (shall we talk about Westboro ? )
I do believe there is a peaceful version of Islam. I also believe there is a hypocritical side of Islam, the side that is spreading to other countries in the world all the while proclaiming they are the Great Satan. Just as the 911 hijackers spent their last days drinkin it up in a local night club which is against the very religion they claimed to have martyred themselves for.
I believe a day is coming when those hypocritical sects of Islam's will rise up against the countries they are pouring into, because as I say, why would they condemn these countries at the same time they are lining up to live in them unless they had another motive.
But that's not the point here. No one in the article had any reason whatsoever to object to the building other than, we dont want them here. That smacks of christian hypocrisy.

Re: Tennessee Mosque
Um, sorry, SOI, but that is just hate.
Take a break from Fox News, wouldja,
or better yet, go and actually meet a Muslim.
A painful truth for you will be that
"Ishmael was blessed of God,"
and none of your spew will change that.
Don't be deceived yourself, hate-monger,
that the body politic is a festering sore
on the Church (I have Scripture for that,
that you surely will also not be able to hear),
and your civil law is a pathetic failure next to
God's idea; albeit the best we have right now.
I am a Christian, but have dealt with Muslims
for years; and I will tell you that it is you,
and those who would let you spout such tripe
without admonition, that I most fear.

Stop using the "hate card", we have heard that often enough and is starting to get boring.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
About the koran:
The devil is a master in personating God.
He designs false teachings to look like it's from the Lord.
Which IS of God to make it look like it's NOT of God.
And which is NOT of God to make it like it IS of God.

I agree
But this isn't about whether they are right or wrong in their beliefs. This is about freedom of religion in this country. You deny it to one, it may be denied to you one day.
And it is hate. In the article they gave no excuse for not wanting them there, they didnt even play the religion card. Just point blank, we dont want you here.
People need to understand, this country belongs to the American people, not just the christian American people. If we as christian want our rights to believe and congregate freely, we must afford those same rights to others. To think we are special is ignorant. This is one nation UNDER God, not one nation OF God.

Re: Tennessee Mosque
Unfortunately the more radical and minority of the Islamiic sect seem to be the most vocal and target and are able to influence young people.
It's like that with a lot of sects including skinheads but the problem is skinheads are reclusive and exclusive. They are not generally a part of a large Christian congregation particularly one that loves other races
But in Islam that is not the case
Americans have a fear of this radical element influencing others, and forcing sharia law on them. Is it a rational fear? Well take a look at other nations like Lebanon, used to be a Christian nation.
Britian, the have whole enclaves is Muslims with radicalization going on
Same is happening across Europe.
Look at other nations that historically were at one time Christian and are now not only mostly Islamic, they force Sharia law on it's people and Christians are persecuted.
Egyptian radicals persecute the Coptics.
Americans fear the same is or will happen here.
The problem is, or the Solution is we need the Moderates to stand up more often and assure us this won't happen and in partnership with American authorities rat out the fringe radicals in their midst.
