Matter of fact I battle with falling asleep a lot. I come home from work many times exhausted mentally and sometimes physically. So when it comes to "prayer walks" I am glad to say how much it helps me! When I walk I am alert. I can focus much better than if I were laying down.
Being on my knees for a long time dont work any more. My back and knees dont permit this wonderful prayer posture altho I do love the times I can. I heartily endorse prayer walking to whoever needs to.
As to the preaching I agree with the concept that people dont pray like they should in general. Our prayers should be as fervent as possible. I just hope his remarks about prayer walking does not discourage those who like me find it an important tool in our spiritual arsenal.

I'm right there with you. I either sit up or lay down on my face most of the time. I kneel when I can.
