The Oval Office is the single most influential power in the government. The executive branch sets all of the official policies. Executive orders can accomplish much without Congressional approval. Recess appointments often times skirts Congressional oversight. And the the judicial appointments, not only for Supreme Court but the entire federal judiciary. Those are probably the most lasting effect of a president. In spite of your reservations about Romney, to me it's a no-brainer---we KNOW what Obama's governance is going to be like for four more years. And second term presidents always show their true colors more than in the first term. If this is what we get in four years, what in the heck will happen four years from now? Romney is a gamble worth taking. Obama? Not a chance. Guaranteed loser.
I can't believe you would even consider Obama for a second.
