Some tests were positive and some tests were negative. Using that agency's administrative standards and definitions, they were never able to completely "convict" or "exonnerate" him.
Like Clements and Bonds-- Armstrong is not squeaky clean. I wanted to believe he was, but when he gave up, that sealed it for me and yes, I feel let down by his actions.
ALI think he gave up because of the cost of attorneys and after awhile you just say who cares any more.
In my eyes he is still the winner and they can't do anything to change that.

They tested some of his frozen samples from years ago with the new, sophisticated tests that can detect EPOs...and they found them in plenty of his samples from what I understand. I think they have him dead to rights now and this hearing was going to be an embarrassment. There are also new people who have been forced to testify who are corroborating things.
