Let it be understood that Apostolic Friends Forum is an Apostolic Forum.
Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

It is much like the major Wiccan law, "If it harm none, do as you will." This group sounds like they say, "If you do not promote your view, believe what you will." However, if a person has a religious view that they never discuss, the question is if they truly believe it.

I have a family member who has embraced this too. Since they reject the authority of the scriptures there can be little reckoning on the question of beliefs. The scriptures themselves are clear... Jesus was the only begotten.

It's always hard to watch people who are dabbling in false doctrine, especially false doctrine of this kind because it is so dangerous in this day and age. The lie of universal unitarianism is beyond heresy it is a demonic doctrine.

That's what they said about oneness Pentecostalism when it suddenly appeared out of the blue in 1913 with it's new and unusual doctrines.

Jesus is the "line in the sand for me", He was unique from all others!!! Jesus is the Lord.
UU's generally have crossed that line, however it doesn't mean that they will not some day come to know Jesus as He really is. We all see thru a glass darkly, then face to face. No one will be face to face with the only human face of God and still remain in darkness. We don't know what we shall be, but we know that when we see Him we shall be like Him.
