Re: Apostolic Summit

I am still wondering how being a friend of someone makes a person fat!

If the friend buys him a Big Mac, large fries and a diet coke it might help the process of making said friend fat.

And we all know that a Big Mac and fries requires a Diet Coke. I think it's a rule.

This was not tic. I believe it greatly grieves our Lord to see the way we splinter and divide the body.

Re: Apostolic Summit

One of the prayers I pray on a regular basis is known as The Prayer of Saint Francis.

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light
where there is division, unity,
and where there is sadness, joy;
O Divine Master,..
grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

Re: Apostolic Summit

speaking of Apostolic unity, I personally wish the split between the AG and OP's did not happen. I wish they would have left baptism up to the local church and would not have fought one another over it. At that time baptism was not considered necessary for salvation by either group.
