Good example of music that honors the Lord Jesus.

Re: Satan in the Church!
All music is neutral. It's the words that make them "worldly" or not

- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Re: Satan in the Church!
I think I have posted this on the forum earlier.
But I will repeat here:
The music you hear in church represents
the spiritual condition of that church.
We are what we listen to.
There are three kinds of music:
1. Of satan, by satan, for satan.
2. Of God, by God, for God.
3. Of man, by man, for man.
A spirit filled Christian is able to figure out
how to classify the music you are listening to.
Remember, "Christian Entertainment Music", is a way
of making money.
This music not anointed by the Holy Spirit.
ALL music, good and bad, goes directly to your
spirit!
When the doctrine is right,
the music will be right.
Hymns portray biblical doctrine.
Hymns are also a way of preaching.
This is what needs to be evaluated:
1. The music.
2. The people playing it.
3. The message in the songs.
4. Total presentation such as clothing, etc.

Re: Satan in the Church!
Some CCM is very good and anointed.
It's taking back what the devil stole from the church as the roots of contemporary music are embedded in the church choir.
Why should the devil have all the good music?

Re: Satan in the Church!
Music is not the biggest problem the Churches have. Much worse is the things they teach the people who attend. Believe only, once in grace always in grace, no need to be perfect in Christ, pre trib rapture and immortal soul. In other words almost the whole foundation.
Thats how the devil has decieved the masses.

Re: Satan in the Church!
Stop giving the Devil so much credit....he loves the attention. I agree with what the late Billy Cole said. He explained that we are not fighting with the Devil as much as we are with that fact that our society is a pleasure seeking society, and a people who love leasure....that is the biggest battle.

Re: Satan in the Church!
Sorry friends many of the old hymns dont do it for me. Fell asleep to them to many times as a young kid in Church. Songs like this one by Rosannas Raiders built me up many a time back in the days of pure Christian Rock!
Like the words and the music! I miss this music. It vanished in the 90's. I like this genre for when Im driving or at my house. Not for the Sunday meeting tho.

Re: Satan in the Church!
As far as I'm concerned,
there is no such thing as "Christian" rock.
When it's "rock" it cannot be Christian.
Call me old fashioned.

today's youth is through so-called Christian
music that mimics the unsaved world's music.
There's NOTHING "Christian" about such demonic music!
By imitating the unsaved world,
they have effectively brought the world
into the church.
1st Corinthians 10:21, "Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils."
There is NO justification for worldly music.
It's never right to do wrong in order to
get a chance to do right.
It is wrong to use demonic music to
draw worldly youths into church.
If young people today choose to rebel
against the truth of God's Word,
then you're not going to convert them
through worldly music with improved lyrics.

Define "worldly" music?
