The wrong issue is definitely being addressed, because it is easier to make a law about guns, than to address the underlying issue.
The underlying issue is that we have an epidemic of mental illness in our world with autism, and other closely related mental illnesses.
One thing that should be discussed is.... Is it in our diet? Is it the toxins in our water? Is there something in the very air that we are breathing? Are there things in all the highly processed foods that are destroying our bodies?
These are questions that need to be asked....
I know from my own personal standpoint, as I have written in another thread, that my family has not had to see a doctor for two years now since I took our family off all highly processed foods (frozen and boxed), we began to eat meat without hormones, and began to use natural occurring oils in our diet, such as coconut oil, instead of processed oils, like vegetable oil, and using butter instead of margarine... etc. We don't run to the doctor for every little sign of illness, but instead are using organic antibiotics (oregano oil or colloidal silver).
This is all I have done, and I feel a remarkable change in our health.
Maybe this is at least one issue that should be addressed... what exactly is the effect of fluoride in our water doing to our children, and our bodies?
What about all the effects of the chemically created additives in our foods?
What about all these chemically produced drugs that oftentimes cause more severe side effects, making one effectively having to be on a slew of drugs in order to treat just one symptom, because the side effects create a domino effect, requiring more drugs to treat side effects...
Will the idea that things in our diet, and in the drugs we take ever be considered an issue for discussion?
No doubt.. never... People would rather legislate gun control than deal with these harder issues at the core of the problem.
Gun control is just a band-aid to cover up a festering wound that will never be healed until the underlying infection, and disease is first dealt with.
Remember that... gun control is a simply a Band-Aid for the issue... it feels good temporarily perhaps, but until the underlying issue is dealt with, there remains a volcano waiting to blow....
