I finally got the Surgery at the end of Nov at a private clinic. It could have happened a lot sooner but I was in the tennis match.
Public Hospital: He belongs in WCB they'll take care of it. Serve-thwack.
WCB: Nothing wrong with him Return:thwack

And on & on it goes. I walked into the operating room that was so big we could have had Waltz lessons in there.
I told the Anasthesist that I have a tendecy tosnore & talk in my sleep (or so my wife claims) so if I happen to say who shot JR--disregard it.
He said no you won't & then knocked me out!!
I woke up groggy & thought to myself, man some people pay money to feel like this, they are nuts.
My throat was scratchy & that was because they shoved a big tube down my throat so they asked me if I wanted a Ginger Ale & I said sure.
I then said, where's my car keys?
They said, no way, your Pastor is going to come and pick you up, will bring you downstairs.
They then proceded to tell me that I was impaired to drive & I thought--WHAT??
I haven't drunk alcohol in over thirty years!

On the plus side my ankle is much, much better although it looks like frankenstein what with the two long scars on either side & the two holes that they used to put the camera & roto-rooter in.

PS, Don't look on you tube to see what kind of surgery you are going to have before surgery!
