Re: WHY Do People Come to Work SICK?????
I was at the grocery store checking out last night, and the cashier was visibly upset talking to the customer in front of me, whom she seemed to know. I overheard them talking about the swine flu, and the fact that someone had it who worked there at that grocery store.
When it was my turn to check out, I asked the cashier if everything was all right. She said that she was scared to death of getting the swine flu because an employee in their store had it, and that employee had come in today to get cold supplies for her family, and she was so worried that she was going to catch this bug. She even mentioned going home, washing and drying her clothes, and then ironing them just to be sure that the "bug" wasn't on her clothes.
I was kind of shocked at the fear in this woman's voice and how she was just almost in a frenzy about this "swine flu."
So I mentioned to her about the oregano oil, and the elderberry syrup, and because I didn't have a lot of groceries, I didn't have time to give her any more helpful info.
But I was just wondering... about the "ironing clothes" ... has anyone else been told to do this? Or have you heard this mentioned as a flu bug killer? ???
Or, could it be just part of all the fear mongering going on to try to get people scared out of their wits about this "swine flu"?
