Washing Machines

Do you like your washer and would you recommend?

If, so what kind do you have, brand, top or front loader?

I have read so many conflicting reviews I have decided to come to people I sorta know for your experiences.

Read a lot of negative reviews about front loaders growing mold.

Re: Washing Machines

About 3 or 4 years ago caught an unbelievable sale at Best Buy and got a fancy front load LG washer and dryer. Paid about $600 for both. Such a great deal I bought the extended warranty I usually pass on since it has computer controls on both.

Re: Washing Machines

We have a front loader and love it. You do have to be the HE detergent but that isn't a big deal. We do only use about half the recommended amount and, surprise surprise, the cloths and sheets come out just as clean as if we used the whole amount. LOL

Front load washers use about 1/2 or 1/3 as much water as a top load. They are much more effecient.

Salesman told me you only need two tablespoons.

Do you mind saying what brand you have and if you would recommend?

That seems to be the consensus, but also takes a LOT longer to wash.

Re: Washing Machines

If you haven't priced any in a while get ready for sticker shock!

About a thousand dollars one washer only if front loader with pedestal.
