Why Are Ex Pentecostals SO Hateful?

Hateful people are in all walks of life....my sister's are ex-pentecostal and they are as sweet as they can be. Both are Baptists! We get along fine and really I have never known people not to get along with them. A few have tried to pronounce judgement on them however they just smile and don't fuss.
Do I wish for them to see things like I do? Yes, of course but each one of us has a choice to make. Kindness is a hard thing for people to hate....so be kind....no matter how much you differ and if someone is not kind to you be kind to them anyway....

We do not know what someone is going through....maybe they are hurt and broken...maybe they are bitter by some experience...Who knows the sorrows of others?

Maybe they have been mistreated, misjudged....

What is truth? An old question but is still asked by many each passing day....what is truth to you may be a lie to someone else.

I received a call a couple weeks ago from a pastor's wife that pastor the church across town that really does everything they can to hurt us...but that does not mean that everyone that goes there is bad or evil...in fact it is a split off our church and even the pastor and co pastor were once in our church.

The sister said (pastor's wife) missionary can my children and I come spend the day with you? Of course I said yes. I really admire her, love her and her oldest little girl always calls me grandma....We had a wonderful day together...the kids played...we talked and talked...laughed....not once did we focus on our differences...

Some people get the attitude everyone is against them...and that becomes a BIG problem...

I know lots of people almost hate women preachers especially in the crowd we run with however few times have I ever felt this personally against me...If that is the way they see the Bible that is their business and they can rest assured I would not try to even testify in their churches unless they called on me...so we focus on other things...

Are there people I don't care for? Of course....We are all human. However in passing smile...you are not obligated to be buddy buddy with people that you don't care for....

Sometimes we make our own problems....
