Does Mcdonalds charges for changing some plain eggs & bread into a mcmuffin?
Do you complain and ask them why they charge for the mcmuffin since it just some eggs and bread?
That doesn't even make any sense.

I did peruse that site earlier and I haven't found where "The baptismal formula was changed from the name of Jesus Christ to the words Father, Son, and Holy Spirit by the Catholic Church in the second century." -The Catholic Encyclopedia, II, page 263"

Can anyone help?

Thanks Scott. I don't agree with an "Apostolic translation", but you don't have to be much of a scholar to know that Roman Catholics acknowledge a Jesus' name baptismal formula for the early church.

If mat 28 is not original then the oneness explanation is false and a Oneness argument for 'Jesus' being the name of the Father, Son and Spirit is a lie

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Re: The Apostolic New Testament soon to be publish

Wait, so the following statements are true, but the moment they are all combined into one statement, it's wrong??

John 5:43
I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

John 17
11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

John 14
13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name,

1 John 5
13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Acts 4
10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

So these are true, but cosolidation makes it false??

Re: The Apostolic New Testament soon to be publish

The bible was greek to me until I got the Holy Ghost, then the Lord opened my eyes and allowed me to see and understand his word. It's just that simple.

Re: The Apostolic New Testament soon to be publish

Check your Oneness history. It began with a revelation of the name in baptism from Mt 28:19. Your understanding of those verses came after the baptism issue.
