Actually I think that the spirit behind cut hair on women, and long hair on men is very connected to perversions.

The pious spirit you display here judging people you do not even know simply based on their looks is the same spirit Jesus our Savior had to contend with when he was confronted by the pharisees.

Re: My pastor's wife had broidered hair?

I have "long" hair and it has absolutely nothing at all to do with perversion, I have several cancer survivors in my family that have benefited from a program called Locks of Love, and my hair grows very quickly and after 3 or so years its long enough to donate to the program, and that is my small part that I can do to make someone else life a little better.

I also know nurses that wear very short hair because they have fast paced jobs that demand a lot of time and its far easier for them to just be able to wash and go rather that need the time it takes to fuss with long hair, again , no perversion.

Christians are too quick to attribute anything and everything to a "spirit" when in reality it is just convenience and life!

Paul said nature should teach you some things. Just saying.

Hospitals are one of the most nastiest places on the earth. All sorts of germs are in the air and on surfaces. I had to wash my long uncut hair everyday because I did not want to go to bed at night bringing home hospital gunk with me. My hair dried out and broke off from all the washing and drying. I would come in at night through the utility room, take off my clothes and shoes there and go straight to the shower. No matter how hard I tried to protect my children from the viruses, I still came home and gave the serious RSV virus to my baby, who then was hospitalized with pneumonia.

Resistant tuberculosis was another bacteria that I dealt with all day long. People would cough in my face and on my clothing.

Those who never experience anything of this nature will never understand and will judge things that they know nothing about to be 'perversion'.

I agree with you 100%. You nailed it right on the head. Total lack of understanding and judgementalism usually go hand in hand!

Elder Epley...the Word of God means nothing to these folks....they have long ago decided to use the scripture as they deem convenient to them and disregard the rest.....but I am sure you know that already.

Re: My pastor's wife had broidered hair?

The whole point of bringring up this subject was to really show how harmful it is to concentrate on such an issue, and especilly to pile it apon all women and new believers. Saying that all women must have uncut hair is a cruel doctrine!!!!!

That FACT that the UPCI is one of the biggest offenders of the hair doctrine, because their hair is actually broidered is an OXYMORAN.
