Indeed. My first thought is for all the time we placed in creating sections, the abhorrance of moving threads seems a bit odd coming from you.

Maybe I need a new front end than the Advanced Stats on the First page.

If you are wanting traffic, you will get weirdos. My cylinders don't all seem to be firing as of yet today. I hope coffee will cure it, or I am gonna have a whopper of a headache later today.

What's the problem, BOOM?

It's a simple request. If you think I'm out of line then move it. No biggie... sheesh.

The other Admins go in routinely to find older threads and move them for hope someone will have an answer or spark discussion that may have been forgotten.

In case you missed it... looking for FREE ways to do this.

Any tips? Ideas?

I'm aware of the fact that you can submit a site for a search engine to crawl with its web crawler, and to use really good meta tags, but any other ideas...?
The fact you have meta tags does not always mean you will have web traffic. Does your site offer anything others do not? Is it a niche in the local area not offered by other churches. What do you want for the website? Do you want outside visitors to visit like this one, or do you want information to enable visitors to find the local church?

What worked here- RSS feeds and updated content. Being listed in RSS feeds and having updates enabled the search engines to notice us faster. Next have a set of urls that are search engine optimized. What other information sites are available on your niche on the web? view the source of those sites found in Google and see what they are offering.

I hate flash driven sites that are so slow to load and I always found it annoying a church webpage did not have a map in plain clear view. My experience is the live.local.com mappping engine is more up to date than mapquest or Google. My biggest personal pet peeve is empty buildings in photos. We are about people not architecture!

I have to go face the day.
