We "will be saved" when we hear our Saviour say, "well done, though good & faithfull servant, enter into the joy of the Lord!"
That is when we will "inherit" the fullness of our inheritence.

Those Angels minister before we come to God & while we are living for God.
I have only seen Angels once in my life (that I know of) & they were flying down to the service to check our service out.
My Pastor has the gift of discerning of spirits & it is strong in his life.
He sees them all the time.
I have heard from men of God saying that Angels move about the congregation & occasionally reaching out & ministering to the people in the service.

I agree Ron and glad you popped in to post!
I think that you and I would agree we consider ourselves heirs and saved today if the Lord came back, because we know we will continue in the faith. For where could we go, He holds the words of eternal life?

If Christ came back tonight or if I did not wake, I too know who my trust is in and I have no fears and no doubts.

Re: Angels: Ministering Spirits
My husband and kids see angels now and then, and I had the impression that there were several angels lined up behind me when I was praying at church one night. Then I had to go and tell someone how many, and because they thought themselves to be much more superspiritual and holy than I, they got all jealous and gave me a death glare... lol. I believe that angels have different functions and offices (like in the army). I usually get the impression that an angel is next to me when I feel one of my hands start to shake. I believe that angels may usher in the annointing of God when we pray or worship, or when we tell someone our testimony.

Re: Angels: Ministering Spirits
So... the question was asked... outside of "protection"... in what other ways do angels minister to us?

Re: Angels: Ministering Spirits
I think perhaps they impart healing, comfort, boldness... I am just describing my experiences and what I have seen. Like when the pentecostal preachers say, Can I get a witness", its not jusr a verbal thing or an emotional experience when someone agrees. At least it shouldn't be. The person is reaching in their spurit to agree and validate, I guess. I believe that angels being vessels of God's power, are reaching to do something on a bigger scale.

I think a key word in this scripture is "for" those who will inherit salvation. Too many times we only want to read that as "to" instead of "for".
