Re: I love being Apostolic!

When I was down on my luck 36 years ago, a sinnner, starving, homeless....I would have welcomed Pastor TLArt to witness to me about Jesus.

I bet Pastor TLArt would have fed me and found safe shelter for me while the catholic priest I went to told me that he could not do anything for me. Apostolic-Pentecostals? With the exception of a very few, they are not present out on the streets. And there certainly were not any at the time I needed someone to talk to me about the saving grace of Jesus. I needed someone to care.

Desperate people could care less if the messenger smokes a ciggie or not.

Why do we Apostolics feel the need to point out someone else's faults or habits when we all have plenty of our own bad habits?

Good rule of thumb is if one feels a practice is a sin ...well, they just better not do it then. Let the Holy Ghost ...who IS very able convict others.

Just because you think that he would have ( and he may have ) helped you doesn't change the fact that he is addicted and a slave to sin. He needs deliverance but until he comes to the realization that he is bound he will continue to be a slave to his cigarette.

Addiction yes. Slave to a Cigarette yes. Slave to SIN, NO because there is no sin in it!

Throw stones at me all you want. It is very telling of your spirit.

As for the rest, it is just your opinion until you can give bonafide scripture that smoking a ciggie is sin.

....and you know what they say about opinions....

I don't want to stir the pot too much ... but God is something of a smoker too.

Revelation 8:4
And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.
