Christopher: Going to church with close friends or family can't hurt. And it will add to your spiritual development. I'd encourage that you go. I feel positive about it.

Sounds like a psychic reading with vague references that can be taken by a gullible and emotionally unstable person to mean anything relavent while ignoring the other stuff that were irrelevant. Thats not a supernatural gift.

I believe that if God has given you a gift he will also give you a place to use it. Spiritual discernment is not someting you should have to 'practice' to perfection. When the spirit moves on you it is His perfection that will make your gift perfect.

I think that your other comments are telling... You feel that what you bring from the Lord 'freaks out' others. I am not sure that needs to be your concern. If the Lord leads you to share a word with someone, simply do it... That is YOUR part... How it is recieved is the hearers part and really of little concern to you. Trying to find those you feel will be 'receptive' is also not part of the equation... again that is God's job.

I don't think you've done any great harm to yourself or to any one else but I'd probably skip participating in any more of what you've been doing... Just put it over on the side of life experiences and move on.

I pray peace over your mind and heart as God grows you... It sure can be painful an confusing sometimes.

Whoa........ just wait a second here.

You mean to tell me you find some random site on the internet to fine tune your spiritual gifts???? What happened to prayer? Fasting? Reading the word?

You need nothing other than the 3 above. Any spiritual gifts he gives will be used for HIS glory. Are you currently in a ministry? Is there someone you're praying for? For what reason do you need to utilize spiritual gifts??

I would be careful dallying with "spiritual gifts" in a setting where they are not properly used. Spiritual gifts(from God or otherwise) are not kids play.

Chris be careful man...Ive found that when you open yourself to God using you andnmake yourself available....meditate on Him and go where you have contact with people needing ministering to God will use you freely.You do not "learn" from people with a spirit of divination....they are using a totally different spirit than the one used in the gifts of the Spirit....id cut ties....you dont want that attached to you...not throwin stones bro....just sayin out of a spirit of love.

One of the real blessings of being God's child is that he often protects us from our foolish mistakes, even the bad ones. But thanks for your opinion of my opinion...
