I am convinced that Jim Jones was an intel asset. Campaigning for nixon, friends with GOP 'conservatives', then speaking at a big DNC thing sharing the stage with first lady Rosalynn Carter and going full bore socialist/marxist/cultist?

Way too many CIA connections and assorted other spooks-n-kooks involved.

Interestingly, Jonestown members had to work like slaves in Jonestown, which was apparently sitting on the site of a mine rich in various resources (not sure which yet, can't remember off hand).

Jones was a atheist who was using religion to spread his commie plan, never was or had anything to do with conservatives. He was so far left the liberals would have nothing to do with him.

About half way down there's a post where someone makes some allegations about World Vision as a CIA front; the Hinkleys being friends with the Bush's; John Hinkly Jr shooting Reagan to help Bush become President; also alleged that another World Vision worker, Mark David Chapman shot John Lennon.

I had not heard about this until this thread. Wouldn't surprise me, but I'm a bit skeptical about it.
