Lot of people on Twitter still claiming that TM's mother will be taking the stand today. I'm highly skeptical. Pros said they should be done today. It's almost 3pm at the courthouse, they've gone as late as 6pm before. The Pros is still on direct with the DNA guy. I'm sure they'll take a 15 minute break in the next hour or two. You have to think cross by O'mara or West will take at least as long as direct has been.
With the testimony of Rachel Jeantel, West already told the Judge there were new issues and questions for Crump, I would have to believe there would also be issues for TM's mom. And 2 hours, at best, is barely enough time for direct examination, much less including a strong cross.
Unless the Judge plans to completely limit cross to the name of the wit and ask if she's his mother. Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me if this Judge tries to inject herself and limit cross.
