Good Morning Everyone!!! Ya'll need to WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I am starting to get slap happy, I am on day 3 of very little sleep! My daughter thinks that she has to stay up fussing until 12 - 1 in the morning and then turn around and eat at 2:30. After that she us up every 2 hours unless I put her in bed with me then she will sleep until I get up but I still don't get much sleep with her next to me. Last night was a bad night I was extremely cranky due to lack of sleep and my husband was really being a "you know what" and I didn't get much sleep again and over slept this morning and have been rushing ever since which always makes me edgy anyways. I don't know how many more days I can go on no sleep. The bad thing is that this weekend I won't be able to catch up on any sleep either because we have a carwash for our youth group just about all day Saturday and then Sunday is church all day and Monday we are going to Kings Island (amusement park) with our youth group.
Whew! I am already wore out just thinking about it. Lol!!

ANyways,.... we need some action around here to keep my brain occupied!!

Well, I am here now. Had to go early this morning and pick up some salad stuff for supper tonight. Inlaws will be here supposedly about 1pm-- unless they are running late. I haven't heard from them yet today.

I don't know if the reason the baby is fussy might be because of a tummyache. But if it is, you can give her a few sips of peppermint water, and it will help. Just throw a piece of peppermint candy into a 4-6 oz glass of water-- leave it till the red is gone from the candy/water will look pink.. then remove the candy and let her sip a little of the water from a bottle.

Oh... and another thing... If she is bottle fed, and you want her to go longer between feedings.. stir just a tiny bit of the rice baby cereal into her formula. It will be more filling than just the milk. It's been a while since I did it, but I think I used like 1/2 teaspoon to a teaspoon of the cereal to 6 ounces of milk.

Interesting! I have never heard of that. I am not sure what her problem is. I know she has had some tummy problems and has battled constipation (I have been putting a little bit of Karo in one bottle a day and it is helping). I may try this next time she is fussy. It seems like she just fights her sleep but it is only at night. SOmeone said she may be Colicky but my first daughter wasand Ariel is MILD compared to her.

Have you tried Milicon drops? I'm not sure if that's how it's spelled, but it certainly works wonders! Ask your pharmacist for it. It is not a prescription.

Sister Marge I used those.lol...it says a few things about our age.lol....
Rice cereal caused my daughter to give me fits. She was a nursing baby
and we were at my mom in laws.I gave her some rice cereal so she would sleep through the night. The bible quiz coach from FPC asked me to help her make gumbo for their get together.I had to nurse the baby every fifteen minutes as her stomach hurt so bad from gas and constipation.I never did it again. It was the most miserable day in my life.

Did you eat the gumbo...that could have been the problem.

You're right, Renda. She really is cute!

And it looks like someone finds her cuddly as well I think that's a sweet picture. Thanks for sharing it.
