Make sure to wrap it in a towel that is pretty thick, so it does not burn your face. I had a tooth that was bad and it started at night (of course) and by morning I was taking it out of the microwave and putting straight on my face. Man I looked like I was sunburned and it was in the middle of winter.
Let me say this as nicely as I can..........I know it's probably too much information, but I would rather go to the gynecologist 3 times a day than go to the dentist once a year.
Tooth pain doesn't have very far to travel to the brain to tell you it hurts, if you hurt your foot or leg or something, the pain can wear off a little before it gets to the brain to tell you "Hey, I'm hurting" not so with the tooth, just about an inch and no time to get mixed up signals and it screams, "HEY YOU IDIOT, I"M IN PAIN HERE, DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS."
