I don't recall those scenes, but I do know Tequila can make you mean as the dickens, for want of a better word.

Re: News about the dangers of drinking diet soda

I try to avoid diet pop, but I'll have an occasional Diet Pepsi or Diet Mt. Dew. Like someone else said (MissBrattified, I think), it's the fizz I enjoy. I avoid sugar and carbs (to keep my triglycerides low), and eat high saturated fat (to keep my HDL high) + moderate protein; so I figure an occasional diet pop won't hurt TOO much. I also avoid artificial sweeteners, opting instead for Stevia and/or Erythritol.

Has anyone tried the Stevia-sweetened pop (Zevia brand) from Whole Foods? I really like the strawberry flavor. It's expensive though, so I don't buy it often.

LOL - - it's a northern thang. I was introduced to it when we lived in Ohio - I think I'd giggle every time I heard it.

I know what it is, I just like to rib people about it.

I am keeping my grandaughter Friday through Sunday. I don't know what to feed her. At least I know Tequila and diet Coke is off the table. I better go find some ideas. Bananas.....and.....

I remembered the name of the movie, I just don't remember that scene. If they are acting nice after getting drunk on Tequila, I'd say it's not a true depiction of what Tequila does to you. Or maybe I'm just naturally mean anyway.

Soda for the most part.

Of course, most people in the deep south call it all Coke - -what kind of Coke would you like?
