Strange that they would ban TV back in the days when it was innocent and tame. Now that almost "anything goes" on prime time, they are talking about NOT banning it? Seems a little ironic.

I am not reading it as an acceptance of the programming. Rather, it's just an admission that there is a broad spectrum of media available and the content that was opposed is now opposed on all devises.
