Donnie McClurkin Removed from MLK Memorial

A gospel singer who says God delivered him from being gay was removed from a concert lineup at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial after a request from Washington's mayor.

Several gay rights activities objected to his participation ahead of the event.

Ah, yes. Another example of the extreme intolerance of gay activists. There's no such thing as the first amendment in their view. If you're a private business owner who exercises your right to refuse business to them - they'll sue you, boycott you, send death threats and demand city council action. If you're an actor, singer, or even a member of clergy and have been invited to speak, sing, or pray at an event - they'll demand you be removed from the lineup.

Hypocrites! Demanding tolerance, yet being intolerant themselves.

Are they the most powerful minority in the country or what?

When is Kirk Franklin going to come out of the closet? I was watching that Gospel American Idol show that he hosts and my Gaydar went off big time.

The program is 'Sunday Best'...re KF, I do not think he is gay. KF is just is a bit strange...
