That is definitely true. It defines the great majority of Preachers today.

Other than the fact he teaches better foundation doctrine than them I agree. The same form of "standards" are preached in most UPC pulpits as far as I know.

I have encountered the same resistance to calling Jesus "Yeshua" and the Lord YHWH right here on AFF many times. He's not alone in his battle against this.

Not to me, not just doctrinally but his persona and that of his followers are atypical. He and his followers are easily distinguished in the same respects by how they post on facebook

He is against calling Jesus "Yeshua" and he is against calling God "Yhwh". He labels people that do "Liars" and "anti-christ".

He also says Yhwh is the name of a satanic god. That it was the invention of Jews. The rants of his followers oftentimes verge on blatant anti-semitism

Here is his beliefs on the name of Jesus being Yeshua (or some variant)

"It has been asked if a person pronouncing the name of Jesus in Hebrew as *Yehshua* or *Yahshua* is valid for baptism. Yahshua is not a Hebrew name, it is a guess name with no historical antiquity or value. It is a fabricated name never once found in any ancient manuscripts. ALL BAPTISMS WHERE YAHSHUA WAS PRONOUNCED IS A FALSE BAPTISM! There is no "Y" letter in Hebrew. The letter from which the "Y" is made is the letter consonant "I". The first name correctly then is "IEHSHUA."
