That being said, on the subject of prayer, Islamic prayer is very ritualistic and that is putting it mildly. They think it if you dont do certain things, your salah (prayer) will no be accepted. See them pointing their index finger and moving it up and down towards the end of their prayers as an example of this. Also you have to pray in Arabic according to them. Even though there is no Quranic mandate for this. I often wonder and ask muslims online, if GOD really gets praise/joy/pleasure from them repeating and doing the same prayers 5 times a day. I usually get nothing but super defensive answers. I enjoy reading about Islam.
