It is BIBLICAL. The Tree of Life in the Garden is in the New City in
Rev 22, and indicates the Garden has progressed into a City! This shows spiritual growth and maturity
beyond Acts 2:38, lol.
My first message was called "THE GARDEN CITY".
I took my text from
Genesis 2 and the Garden story, and Song of Solomon where the beloved woman was called a GARDEN ENCLOSED. Then I went to
Rev 21 where the CITY with the tree of life and no-longer-enclosed river of life, like the Garden, was called the BRIDE!
From a GARDEN TO A CITY! This speaks of the spiritual growth of the believer. I preached how this is our burden to minister to believers and see them mature to a CITY in the Spirit, and reach this dying world! We have ecompassed the mountain of the same old same old for too long. Let us go on into the Promised Land and be mature believers!
