Perhaps I jumped the gun on Epley's quote saying it was a good article, but wished the guy were saved. The second part of what he wrote was what got my goat. It seems that if someone says something that is good, yet they're not "saved", it is okay to throw it all in the trash... and perhaps Epley wasn't meaning that... but I know many who do the same thing.
And my question to them is... do you sing songs written by men who died drunk, like Hank Williams who wrote "I Saw the Light" ... Do you read books written by Trinitarians? Do you throw anything and everything out that someone did, wrote, or sang that was good, but because they weren't "saved"... you have no part of it... ?
It is this mindset that I was attempting to address, because I suspect Epley may buy into that... although I could be wrong.... and I hope I am.
