I was raised during a time when if you wanted to be involved in ministry, you pretty much had to attend a Bible School. I don't agree with that; you don't have to go to a Bible School to be involved in ministry. I just disagree that Bible School is wrong because it's "not what the early church did."
My Pastor recently mentioned his desire to create a curriculum for people wanting to be involved in ministry, using local elders and others. Hopefully that will be launched next year.
