It's evident that there are abuses in these orgs. Not everyone is cut out for them. Anywhere human beings are put in positions of authority there will be some level of abuse. The early church it seems was overseen by a plurality of elders. This may have kept some form of checks and balances to limit abuse.

There are good and sincere people in the UPCI. The biggest problem I see is the overseers not responding to the problems that arise in these churches.

The neglect and concern of individuals that need support is almost absent. Forced tithing at the expense of the needy and making it a requirement for salvation must be addressed. If not the exodus will increase. Alternative meeting places must be established for those cast aside.

The role of Pastor has been distorted resembling a mini-pope.
