Another book that the Wurmbrand's foundation has put out is called "Jesus Freaks". Literally, this book transformed my daughter's heart. I highly recommend it also. When you read stories of things that happened years ago, sometimes you can think, well, that wouldn't happen today. This book will convince you otherwise.

Another excellent read, and I believe there are two separate volumes of them now.

I would be willing to bet that if the average Apostolic knew any of these martyrs personally, they would not even call them a brother or sister in Christ.
