What does your name mean?

I don't know what my name means but I do know this... way back in the late 1950s, while looking out the window of a passenger train as it departed from Paris, France headed to Bordeaux in the south, I noticed a large billboard advertising a line of chairs manufactured by the "Lafon Chaise" Company.
