Hmm, not sure, but i think that that is also a Rothschild note, with interest attached? While Lincoln's Greenback of the same period might be a better analogy; but both are country-specific, whereas cryptocurrencies are not. An important note here is that, like torrents, cryptocurrencies have not been 'shut down' yet only because it is not possible to even do this short of shutting down the entire web. Loss of 'net neutrality' notwithstanding.
I've just watched a documentary on how humans did great without any form of money for centuries; and so the best critique of cryptocurrency might be that any money is 'satanic,' but i'm not really qualified to comment there.
