I cannot respond to that as it is between you and RDP. I know I have read multiple times where he has publicly stated on this thread that he honors your sacrifice.

I have been to jungles already... FTR I was not comparing women to donkeys I was comparing logic. If you took it that way you took it wrong. I have not attacked women nor intend to do so. I have nothing but respect and admiration for godly women. Their price if far above rubies...

I don't have time to continue this. As an ordained minister I have a responsibility to stand for truth. Also, I don't get all ruffled over women that think they are called to preach. I disagree based upon biblical principles but in the end I have to much here to do to wonder about what is happening somewhere else. This is what comes to my mind at the end of the day:

(Luk 9:49 KJV) And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with us.
(Luk 9:50 KJV) And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us.

I pray the Lord of the harvest sends forth laborers into His harvest because eternity is too long to be wrong. Eternity will sort it all out but I must when confronted with the question take a biblical stand.

SThe Concise Greek-English Dictionary of the New Testament says the word prophesy means:

proclaim God’s message, preach; prophesy, predict… An Intermediate Greek-English Lexicon abridged from Liddell and Scott’s Lexicon says prophesy means: in N.T. to expound scripture, to speak and preach under the influence of the Holy Spirit. The Enhanced Strong’s Lexicon writes this about the word prophesy:to utter forth, declare, a thing which can only be known by divine revelation. To break forth under sudden impulse in lofty discourse or praise of the divine counsels. Like prompting, to teach, refute, reprove, admonish, comfort others...

So that would be ok? Lol....
Concerning Miriam, she did have a God ordained ministry - to WOMEN:
(Exo 15:20 KJV) And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.

When she sought to usurp authority from Moses, a man, she was struck with leprosy:

(Num 12:1 KJV) And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman.
(Num 12:2 KJV) And they said, Hath the LORD indeed spoken only by Moses? hath he not spoken also by us? And the LORD heard it.
(Num 12:3 KJV) (Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.)
(Num 12:4 KJV) And the LORD spake suddenly unto Moses, and unto Aaron, and unto Miriam, Come out ye three unto the tabernacle of the congregation. And they three came out.
(Num 12:5 KJV) And the LORD came down in the pillar of the cloud, and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam: and they both came forth.
(Num 12:6 KJV) And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.
(Num 12:7 KJV) My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house.
(Num 12:8 KJV) With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?
(Num 12:9 KJV) And the anger of the LORD was kindled against them; and he departed.
(Num 12:10 KJV) And the cloud departed from off the tabernacle; and, behold, Miriam became leprous, white as snow: and Aaron looked upon Miriam, and, behold, she was leprous.

She indeed have a ministry to women and when she stepped out of that ministry into a mans ministry the anger of God was kindled against her...

What does it matter what title people think we have?
Don't worry about titles just do the work HE called you to do...

I have walked in churches and the pastor called me a true apostle...lol...other places I have been called a lady prophet...others have called me a great evangelist....others have called me a teacher...However I am none of the above....I am a missionary....a servant....a handmaiden of the Lord and a mother in Israel....

People that fuss and fight over who is who seem to have an inferior complex...Why knock the other person? If you do not believe in them or their calling...then fulfill YOUR calling...Remember it was Jesus that said, for whoever is not against us is for us.

So why try to destroy some lady preacher? Even if you do not believe in them they carry the same message of Christ and work for Him?

Maybe you cannot have lunch with them but you don't have to try to destoy one person that carries the gospel message....
AMEN! Preach it, Sister Alvear!

So a men's ministry is to murmur against and gossip about somebody's wife? Seriously? You boys can have that 'ministry'!

Seriously, is this a matter of what I think? Then that makes it simple. But seriously, I am simply asking the dude who continues to ask for scriptural record for a prophetess expounding from scriptures to provide the same scriptural record for a prophet expounding from scripture. This has been harped on repeatedly as 'proof' that women cannot preach-teach to a congregation from scripture.

No wonder you believe in women preachers. No sense of context. No sense of accurately listening to what is said. Only an emotional appeal...

No one has ever said a woman cannot be used in the gifts. But this has been mentioned already. There is truly nothing new under the sun. As mentioned before everyone can operate in the gifts of the Spirit and I would challenge us all to be in a place where God can use us. But the Bible is clear, the Bishop is a man.
Correction: a bishop is a married man. According to your application of this text, there cannot be unmarried men as pastors, evangelists, teachers, apostles, or prophets. Please start preaching this requirement with the rest of the misapplied restrictions you would place on Holy Ghost filled people that God chooses to use for His purpose to fulfill the Great Commission.
