Re: Random Revival Rhetoric
He has a church that he started about a year ago in GA. Within nine months he had over 100 regularly attending people. I went there for a month when I lived with my brother so I could go to youth congress with their church because my church wasn't going (I live in Missouri-8hr drive). His church is amazing. It's in
Loganville GA. If any of you ever are in GA, go there. It's amazing.

One thing we should take note is that the Greek is in the perfect tense passive voice participle, which is suggesting that any binding and/or any loosing has already occurred and those effects of that action remain.
You would read the passages as such – “Whatever you shall bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you shall loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.”
If Peter or anyone else were to bind or loose anything in the present, that something has already been bound or loosed, in the past, and continues to remain either bound or loosed by God.
IOW, the “whatever” doesn’t give us free reign, but must be weighed against what is already written in God’s Word.

You describe the operand of Faith here, in my understanding; interesting.

Mentions in the Bible:
Heaven - 550
Hell - 54
Purgatory - 0

Misleading, the mentions of "Hell" includes references to the grave, Gehenna, and the place of the unseen.

Just focusing on the terms used in the NT, I don’t see a difference in the meanings:
Geena/Gehenna – 12
Hades – 10
Tartaroo – 1
Tartaroo ( II Peter 2:4) means to “incarcerate in eternal torment”, which corresponds to the meaning of Geena/Gehenna – “everlasting punishment”.
Hades is termed the “grave”, but then we find the rich man ( Luke 16:19-24) in the “grave” wanting water to cool his tongue because he is tormented in flames.

Why do we need argue over what negative results there are if we insure that we have positive results.

Re: Random Revival Rhetoric
I think the parable of the man finding the pearl of great price needs to be revisited in light of revival. Problem is, many people do not consider their salvation worthy of the pearl of great price, and place a more valuable price tag on other things in their lives.
However, when the focus is right, which is on Jesus, who is our pearl of great price... then the one who knows they have found the pearl of great price, is willing to give everything of value that they own in order to search after, seek after, and treasure the pearl of great price in their lives. When one recognizes Jesus and places Him at the center focus of their lives, their Pearl of Great Price, then personal revival will take place. It comes by no other way.

Silly me! I was under the impression that "revival" was the result of a spontaneous and unprovoked reaction of the Holy Spirit. I had no idea that "revival" could be triggered with a formula.

Real "revival" and church groweth doesn't BEGIN with praise, but rather with self examination and repentance.
Psa 51:10.. ..Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
11.. ..Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
PERSONAL REVIVAL 12.. .. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
CHURCH GROWETH 13.. ..Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
