I'm struck by how much I agree in principle with the 'men only' crowd; and yet we have a lot of evidence that men have largely abdicated or otherwise lost their position in today's world. RJR, we're all called to preach the Gospel, every last one of us. The standard of being a husband of one wife is only applied to bishops (aka elders, overseers, commonly called "pastors" today).

2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
