Let it be understood that Apostolic Friends Forum is an Apostolic Forum.
Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

I would recommend if anyone can find a recording of Rudy Burrows debating Dr John Scheel on women preachers to get it and let others hear it. A very good discussion. I know it took place many years ago. I could not find any references of it online, but I doubt that it would be promoted either.

Yes, indeed.
God help us all to remember that a lost, drowning soul in sin doesn't care who is throwing the life vest to them, they are just thankful that someone cares enough to help them be saved.

Couldn't agree more - the willful ignorance is mind-boggling!
And of course, as to be expected, the pro "woman preacher" camp gets a free-pass !
It's called a double standard !
