Re: Ministerial Fashion
lol...people sure can get hooked on opinions...I am just myself...don't spend my money on all that "junk"....
The most important thing is to remember you represent God...be clean...and as neat as possible....Wherever you see me I am about the same....

Re: Ministerial Fashion
Why do some folks preach against women's necklaces while wearing a man necklace? What's the difference?

I'm sure there are some (aren't there in any denomination?), but, personally, I don't know any preachers/pastors who "don" such expensive attire.

No, I just think he was a pastor who didn't want preachers to take off their suit coats.

It's called "respecting the pulpit", seems it's just another thing some forks have forgotten. RESPECT for things pertaining to God.

HIS coat was so special (probably tailored for Him), that the soldiers refused to "part" the garment, but rather cast lots for possession.
Joh 19:23 Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also his coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout.
Joh 19:24 They said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which saith, They parted my raiment among them, and for my vesture they did cast lots. These things therefore the soldiers did.

Re: Ministerial Fashion
Perfect attire for ministers, perfectly representing the religion of Jesus:
Display your humility and 'respect for the pulpit' like never before!
Hurry, act now!
