AUTHORITY? Sorry Sis, as bad as you want it even prophecy is under authority. The prophet (I am sure the same would hold true for a prophetess) was subject to the prophet. Prophecy had guidelines under which it could and could not be given, Paul even concludes his discourse by saying 1Co 14:37 If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.
1Co 14:38 But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant
By the way are you in the church or a college (look up its definition it is not Oxford)?
I know that disappoints you since this post, any more just like it reveals, your point is all about women in authority. I would like to remind you again of a very relevant verse...
1Ti 2:12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
