Have you been to the
www.healthcare.gov website? My accountant advised us that because of the financial hardship we suffered last year, and our low ANI (annual net income), that we could qualify for free healthcare, with our premiums subsidized. Also, if we DON'T get the healthcare, that we could possibly have to pay the penalty.
So, I went to the healthcare.gov site, and looked at our options. Not bad, especially considering, for this year at least, that it would be "subsidized" and we wouldn't have to pay for it.
Anyone else considering signing up for the "free" healthcare... if your annual net income falls in a certain range, you may qualify for "free" healthcare, remembering of course, that nothing is "free", and that someone is paying for it, even if you aren't. This makes us reluctant to participate in this mess, even if for one year.
